After graduating in law and economics at the universities of Wuerzburg, Freiburg and Cologne in Germany, Mr. Buettner was assistant of the ARAG Lebens- und Krankenversicherungs-AG chairman. In 1995 he moved to Columbus Capital Vermögensanlagen GmbH as authorized signatory and was managing director from 1997 until 2003.

In August 2003 he moved to the KanAm Group. Since January 2005 he is managing director of KanAm.
