Wachovia Financial Center (sold)

The Wachovia Financial Center in Miami was purchased in 2002 for the closed-end US Office Fund KanAm/WestWind USA Office II and an Australian REIT. This Class A office building is the major landmark of the Miami business district. The property was planned and constructed in 1984 by leading international project developer Gerald D. Hines and has since that time been maintained in pristine condition thanks to professional facility management.

By the end of the year 2006 KanAm sold it's joint venture interest in the Wachovia Financial Center. Investors posted an average pre-tax return on their investment of about 12.9 percent p.a. for a holding period of three years.
