The open-ended real estate fund KanAm grundinvest Fonds has enlarged its portfolio with an attractive property in Belgium. The fund acquired in December 2004 the company Ekstar S.A. which owns in today’s centre of European politics, the “Quartier Leopold” in Brussels, the representative landmark building Meeûs.

The office building has twelve upper, and two lower levels with 491 parking spaces. As it is situated in the core of the government district it has excellent transport connections. The estate is leased to the European Commission until 2012.
