KanAm Real GmbH, with offices in Munich and Eschborn, Germany, was founded in 1999. The company performs the asset-management operations for the properties owned by the closed-end KanAm Deutschland Funds. KanAm Real executes all the services connected with tenant management and is responsible for the technical, strategic, infrastructural and commercial support activities and for the management of the properties. KanAm Real GmbH is currently managing eleven KanAm properties, including ten prestigious office buildings in prime market locations and a hotel. The gross floor area of these properties totals some 200,000 square meters.

KanAm Real is also responsible for performing support activities for KanAm project developments, which involves providing not only all the commercial services but also engineering services. A recent project under development by KanAm has been the HighLight Towers high-rise complex in Munich, which was completed by the turn of the year 2004/2005.

In addition KanAm Real values commercial properties both from a technical and commercial point of view, including for outside clients, and manages and restructures large property portfolios for institutional clients.
