The SachsenFonds Group based in Aschheim-Dornach near Munich specializes in devising, issuing and managing yield-driven investments for private and institutional investors.

Since it was established in 1999 SachsenFonds has syndicated a total of 49 closed-end investment funds specializing in German and foreign real estate, aircraft leasing, renewable energy sources, motion picture productions, and private equity. With equity capital of some 1.8 billion euros at its disposal SachsenFonds has raised an investment goal of approximately 3.3 billion euros. For institutional investors it has so far launched four funds targeting an investment volume of about 1.6 billion euros.

The SachsenFonds Group employs some 90 staff worldwide to manage not only the company’s own publicly-traded funds, but also the three funds for institutional investors and 17 investment funds set up by other syndicators. The portfolio managed by SachsenFonds totals some 5.4 billion euros in all.

SachsenFonds became a member of the KanAm Group in December 2007, following KanAm’s acquisition of a majority interest in SachsenFonds Holding GmbH
